Review content:
I called in one day after walking by the salon a few times, Diego was very personable and helpful with setting up my appointment. He matched me with a stylist that was good at coloring hair and I was looking to go from a pretty dark brown-almost black color to a lighter brown with a lot of highlights. When I came in Diego greeted me and handed me some style magazines to look at while I waited and offered me a drink! While I waited, I noticed the charm of the building itself and then the inside of the salon- clean, chic and contemporary with touches of old brick work and crystal chandeliers Summer was my stylist and was she ever a great match! She took her time in my consultation to listen to what I wanted and did not want. My hair tends to go brassy when I lighten it in the summer, which was one of my biggest concerns as well as the integrity of my hair after going through such a process. She explained how she could lighten it with a special lightener that would take a little longer( which it didn't!) but be much healthier on my hair. I was apprehensive of how it might have come out because I wasn't sure if it was going to be as light as I was wanting , but the finished result was AMAZING!!! I couldn't have been happier with my color! It was exactly what I wanted! She cut my hair into long layers and took my face into consideration when layering the front which no hair dresser had done before. She gave me the name of a shampoo I could use at home to prevent brassiness in between my visits SUMMER WAS AWESOME! She really knows her stuff and is very genuinely friendly Summer, Diego and the rest of the staff were very friendly and non pretentious as they are at other salons, so I will definatley be back! .They offer specials for first time clients and a referral program you can't beat! SO DON'T FORGET TO TELL THEM ELIZABETH SENT YOU! There is parking in front of the building as well as a huge parking lot behind the salon. The salon is in a strange location (located near the Chino police department, library and courthouse) but there is also a cute bakery next to the salon! So I enjoyed a cupcake @ Royalty Cakes afterwards! :) (Review on Royalty Cakes to follow!!!)
