i went to gateway tire to have a simple patch done on my tire. After waiting for an hour, the gentleman at the desk asked me to come look at my tire, he wanted to speak to me. He showed me that the inside of my tire had worn ""a little"" and i should go and have it replaced as soon as possible but they would patch my tire. So I waited another 15 min only to have him tell me that they didn't patch it and put my spare on instead. They said he didn't feel it was safe for me to drive on it and instead of patching it like he said, they removed the tire completely and gave me my rim and sent me on my way to drive back to antioch on a spare. I could have had it plugged been able to make it to next paycheck decently but instead they trapped me into having to buy a new tire refusing to give me back my perfectly good tire that only needed a plug. Gateway tire needs to realize that not everybody is made of money. I personally had just been shorted 200 dollars on my last paycheck. They stole my tire and put me in a worse position then when I started. I will never return and will be contacting the appriopiate personel so this does not happen to others.
Cons: long wait for absolutely nothing
