I've been a client for seven years, and Gene is an amazing stylist and colorist. I can't even count the number of times I've been stopped by strangers on the street or in shops who compliment both my cut and color. Gene really *listens* to what you're looking for, but gives the right combination of expert advice and creative ideas to achieve a result that makes you feel amazing. Not once have I left feeling disappointed or thinking ""well, it'll eventually grow out."" Plus, it's just plain fun visiting the salon. The staff is always friendly, funny, and unpretentious, and the place attracts the same - I've had incredible conversations and laughs with other clients. Most of all, Gene is someone who truly cares about his clients beyond just a haircut or color....there aren't enough adjectives to describe what a truly great person he is. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
