Although I cannot comment on the doctor (because I never got to see him) I would like to outline my experience with his receptionist. I have had issues with my neck for the last 2 yrs. I underwent a posterior cervical fusion on 05-28-08. Although the surgery is considered a success I still stuffer from neck pain, muscle spasms, & headaches. When the orthopedic surgeon could no longer help me he referred me to Dr. Roeshman. I had an appt scheduled for January & was put on the cancellation list. I received a call yesterday informing me that there had been a cancellation for today (10-08-08) at 2PM (I was to arrive at 1:45PM). I wrote this information down on a piece of paper as she said it & confimed the info before hanging up. My husband & I rearranged our work schedules for today & drove for over an hour. We arrived at the doctor's office at 1:30PM. We were greeted with an unfriendly welcome by the receptionist. She told me that my appt was for 1:15PM & that I was to have arrived at 1PM. I told her that there must be some mistake! She then said that there was no way that she made a mistake because she did not have any openings at 2PM. She then told us that there was nothing she could do & that we would have to wait until our original appt date in January. We tried to explain all the trouble we went to for this appt but she did not want to hear it. She raised her voice when I insisted that she must have made a mistake. She then raised her hand up in the air with an attitude & slammed the receptionist window closed in front of my face. As she huffed away I asked to speak to someone else. I stood at the window for several minutes as the receptionist hid in another room behind the receptionist area. The receptionist's treatment could best be described as rude, inconsiderate, uncaring, & unprofessional. Needless to say, I have decided to not keep my appointment for January. I did not nor could not ever feel comfortable in that office again. Cons: Inconsiderate Receptionist
