Review content:
To say that Leslie K. McGovern is bad at her job is a gross understatement. She never takes a case history, never asks what is wrong, and speaks in generalities. She told me that she entered psychology because of the pain she suffered as a child. Oh, oh! Be warned. The hidden agendas and her own childhood scars (I don't know exactly what they are, but I can guess) here are landmines just waiting for you to step on them. She attended the University of Wyoming, one of the bottom-ranked psychology programs in the United States. And it shows. My guess is that her training in Couples' Counseling consists of watching a couple of episodes of Newhart. Only her jokes are bad. If what you're looking for is somebody to say things such as ""The very things you like about somebody are the very things that will drve you crazy."" then she's the one for you. If you want help with something serious, give her a wide pass. Oh, if you're a guy or have something quirky about you, watch out! Leslie is classic passive agrressive. She'll stab you in the back in about twenty seconds. If you like tea, she'll give you a cup of it and then charge you up the wazoo for the experience. Forget McGovern and go to a coffee house instead. You can get more expertise by talking to the coffee waitron. Oh, I almost forgot: Two more things. She often talks about how busy she is. Who cares? And then, Leslie loves to say things like, ""Aren't we a good match?"" This is a marketing technique she uses to keep you coming back and paying her. Trust me. You won't be a good match. If you complain to you about her treatment, she'll say things like ""I hear your pain."" She's absolutely bad news. Pros: Good for women, bad for everybody else Cons: Bad training, bad service
