Businiess name:  Sammy's Subs & Salads
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Not your average fast food chain, Sammy's offers deli sandwiches with all the trimmings or none depending on your taste along with salads and soups. The bright cheery atmosphere as you enter is clean as a whistle. Even after the lunch rush there was hardly a crumb to be seeny. I've never seen any restaurant so clean, and it's been around for several year!. You place your order by taking a pencil and pad and checking off the sandwich, salad, and/or soup you want, hand it over the counter, and before you know it you have lunch that is as fresh as can be. The sandwich bread, my choice was whole wheat, was substantial enough to hold the meat, cheese, and toppings I chose without falling apart, while still being light and tasty, not at all dry and tough, my usual complaint about the chain variety shops. The Texas style chili, well that was a surprise! I expected it to be a tame version of the real thing, but was indeed hot and spicy like we Texans like it. Just a warning, keep your drink glass handy, but dig in because it's the real thing. Pros: Fast, fresh, and squeeky clean Cons: didn't find any
