I am Dr. Ted Rothstein and here is my response to Jinxey's ""review"" :\r
Thirty-six years practicing orthodontics in Brooklyn Heights, and having treated more than 6000 patients without a single bad review-- until now, is a fairly good indication that the snarky review I received on this site is suspect--to say the least. Reviews that truly reflect who I am and the way my staff and I treat my patients have been compiled and can be read on YelpDotCom or AngieslistDotCom or directly on my site at DrtedDotCom (see YELP-REVIEWS and ANGIESLIST-REVIEWS). I did not stumble upon this review, which was first posted on 09/20/11, and then updated 01/20/12. The malicious intentions of the writer are evident, and intended to jolt the recipient of the bad review into a fit of anxiety and concern. Indeed, just two days after this review was “updated” I was contacted online by a “reputation management” company who took less than 20 seconds to locate this review on my behalf. When I inquired about the cost of their service I was told the fee was $700 for the initial payment and then $700/month to keep the review “suppressed or buried.”\r

In summary, as Jinxey has stated, I AM “a skillful orthodontist” and the people who assist me are “the greatest""! The reviewer went to absurd lengths to paint a bilious caricature of me that is bogus/untrue. I love my profession, and care deeply about my patients. I am neither condescending or patronizing when I treat them. Indeed I am grateful that they chose me to be their orthodontist.\r
