I found Jack thanks to a quick internet search and a LOT of five-star reviews. And man, are those reviews well deserved!!!
He is absolutely the best. He is an extremely sweet man, who works on machines because he loves it! He really knows what he is doing and can give you some great information about how to keep your sewing machine running perfectly.
I called him about a vintage Brother machine I picked up at a secondhand store. It never worked quite right, but I wasn't sure what was wrong...all I was sure about was that I wanted to keep it. Jack took a look for me, and told me it probably just needed a nice, thorough cleaning and that he'd take care of that for me. I also asked him if he could replace the lightbulb in the machine for me, and he said no problem!
I got a call just over four days after dropping it off, saying it was all ready to go. I was amazed, it didn't even look like the same machine! (apparently there were cobwebs inside that he had to clean out though, yikes) I ended up paying $71.25 for the tune-up and lightbulb replacement, a very affordable price for the best service I've seen! I've been telling everyone I know about Jack. He is amazing.
