I took my 5 month old into the new studio at Northwoods Mall in North Charleston, SC. I went to purchase the Watch Me Grow package. My girl friends and the Olen Mills website state that with the Watch Me Grow package, you can go as many times (daily, weekly, monthly, etc...) for as many sessions as you want for the year. The program is $20 and you get a free 10x13 of your favorite pose every time. After we got the pictures taken and it was time to check out and pay, the studio manager told us that the Watch Me Grow program was not as I had read and was told. She said, and I quote...""If we were to do a free session and give a free 10x13 to everyone, we would go out of business. We wouldn't make any money. The only thing that we offer is you can pay $20, once, for the Watch Me Grow package and if you spend $20 for one page of prints, you will get a free 8x10."" Then she told me that each page of photos that you buy is $19.99, which I later found out that it's only $12.99. I really liked one of the pictures, so I bought one of the poses so that the past 3 hours wasn't a complete waste of time. The next day I called customer service and confirmed that I was lied to. They directed me to the district manger. When I finally spoke with her (after nearly a week) I told her the story and she told me that she was going to give me a refund on what I paid and get me into the program and that she would call me back after she took care of everything. Not to mention, talk to the studio manager to tell her that she was very wrong. That was over a month ago. I called the district manager back after waiting, like I said, a month and left her a message to why I haven't heard back from her. That was over a week ago! I'm going to call customer service, again, today in hopes that they will direct me to someone higher than the district manager. This is SO unprofessional and ridiculous! The only reason that I have given them one star is because the pictures turned out good. Other than that, the lies about the prices and lies about the program (that has been around for over 10 years!) is just unacceptable! Another problem is that the woman that told me all of the lies is the manager of the store! Shouldn't she of all people know the prices and programs of her own store?
