I've lived at Lenox Gate for 2 years, I moved in with my boyfriend and am not technically on the lease. Myself, my boyfriend and a friend of ours decided to go to the pool one day. There is no one else at the pool, it's early in the morning. Some lady comes out, I assume Lisa, and checked all of our ID's and told my boyfriend that he is only allowed to bring ONE guest and that one of us had to go. Really? No one is at the pool and this is how you treat your residents that pay upwards of $800 a MONTH to live there? We were all adults, mid 30's, not causing any trouble and just trying to lay out and get some sun. Lisa is also a liar and is EXTREMELY rude at every opportunity she has to be so. She is condescending and knows she has the authority to evict people whenever she wants and has no problem letting you know that. A single mother and her three children were recently evicted, I don't have the details, all i know is that I came home from work and there are toys and children's belongings strewn all over the dumpster area and in the morning everyone had a sign on their door from the tenants asking people to please return the children's toys that had been taken from the dumpster since they were evicted with no notice and when the family was away from home. We've had BLACK MOLD in the bedroom closet for 2 years and all they tell us is that it wasn't there when we moved in and they won't do anything about it, other than promise to charge us the cost of fixing it when we move!!!! The breeze ways are never cleaned, not ONCE has anyone even swept up. When it rains the breezeway floods due to no drainage system and if it's cold enough it ices over, which they do not salt at all. They care NOTHING about you, trust me. The maintenance staff is very nice though, they have always shown up promptly and fixed whatever issue we've had very quickly and were extremely courteous...unfortunately, that doesn't make up for the rude inept office staff. They don't even have handicapped parking, they do nothing about people who let their dogs crap EVERYWHERE on the property...don't walk on the grass, you'll regret it trust me. The ""automatic"" gate is broken more often than not, and if it's raining forget about the gate working at all, you'll have to park your car on the street outside and walk to your apartment. We had some neighbors who smoke and kept tossing their cigarette butts into our patio area, we had a nasty note left by nasty Lisa telling us to clean up our nasty patio, she didn't want to see the butts laying around. My boyfriend and I HAVE NEVER SMOKED! I called to tell her that and she basically called me a liar and said we better have it cleaned up or ""else"". Yes, that's really how she talks to her tenants, as though they were scum. PLEASE DON'T RENT HERE!!! Live in your car if you have to, or a ditch would be even better.
