Review content:
I have been taking things to this store for several years. The last two times the owner has been insinuating things are wrinkled i.e. in a box nicely folded and unfolded for her hangers, or scuffed. So they have not been on my receipt for resale. I decided to question her this time about a pair of shoes that were never worn. I had them on in the house to see if I could break them in and never did. She sent them immediately out for donation and never put them on the shelf, said they were scuffed. Another pair of barely worn Dansko shoes she did not try to sell either. The leather was Antique Brown, which is distressed looking from the time I bought them. Makes me wonder if she really knows her items. Then she divided the donation into what SHE decides is fall and winter and has you pay two consignment fees. I assumed they would all be on one consignment since I brought them in together. There were only 2 items SHE decided were winter, out of a total of maybe 10 - 15 items. Fall items are already 25% off, understandably, it is September. I am very disappointed and will not be taking things there again. I I suppose this is good for the buyers, but terrible for sellers. Thanks, but no thanks Frieda. I will have a garage sale next time I have near new and new items or donate them directly myself.
