Review content:
This is one of the few UES Indian places worth eating at. Most places above E70th are just plain bad. We order delivery from Dakshin at least once a week. Food is pretty good, delivery quick enough. Our only complaint is that the recipes are inconsistent. We can order the same thing twice and it will vary in taste and quality. e.g. among other tihngs, Yellow Daal... how does one mess this one up... it's surprising different every time and not consistently as good. Not sure what that's about. Pros: good food Cons: inconsistent recipes
