Review content:
The professionals at Myth have transformed the formerly cold, urban space of MC2 into an inviting venue for fine dining. With exposed brick walls and gossamer fabric flowing down from soaring ceilings, the restaurant offers a chic lounge and a cozy, yet elegant dining room. Appetizers include mushroom dusted scallops and decadent garganelli pasta with foie gras cream, while entrees range from seared lamb chops to pancetta-wrapped monkfish. Most dishes are available in an small plate size or a larger, entree size. Diners should be sure to indulge in the flourless chocolate cake, Meyer lemon cheesecake, or other enticing dessert. The personable, attentive staff seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as the diners, and the focused wine list features gems from California and France at reasonable prices. While the story at Myth can get a little expensive (dinner for two with wine $200), unlike fairy tales, Myth is real.
Pros: Innovative dishes, Attentive waitstaff, Chic atmosphere
Cons: Lack of parking
