This Church is exclusive and although they supposedly believe in restoration this has only to do with their past doctrinal stance.
They have been involved in heavy discipleship and I believe that this still applies.
I sinned badly and paid the price (I am completely to blame for that) My wife and I were excluded from fellowship, me because of my sin against God and my wife because she honoured her wedding vows and stood by me.
Best friends, Elders etc. who we really valued, rejected my family when they should have been there for them to help them in their pain and to help us all come to restoration.
I have since heard that some of our best friends were kicked out.
The man who was my Pastor criticized our friends in the church and our contact with other Pastors.
One Pastor, (now with the Lord), stood by my wife and I all through our difficulty -God bless Him Richly.
Please don't go to this Church for compassion or real love, they are legalistic and I feel that they have never shed the influence of Discipleship - the apostle was a great teacher, (the praise and worship phenomenal) and I praise God for what sound doctrine he did teach- but I feared him and can still hear him telling us that he was not there to be our friend - he was there to be our PASTOR and APOSTLE.
This is so sad to relate and it isn't anger, resentment or bitterness. It is the truth.
God lead you in his love and gentleness.
