My friends and I were going out to celebrate a birthday, and chose Magnolia's because it was convenient for all of us and in the Entertainment Book. It was the best experience! We each arrived separately after work, and even the first to arrive felt comfortable immediately - not always the case for a woman alone at a bar. When we were ready to eat, the bartender transformed himself into our waiter and continued the easy banter that had made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious. The cornbread muffins served before the meal arrived were outstanding. The maple-glazed salmon ('spicy on the inside and sweet on the outside' - like us!) was fabulous. At some point a wonderful singer began performing, but her music enhanced rather than intruded on our conversation. Magnolia's was a wonderful experience. I will definitely return.
