Terrible experience. Elsinore Pet Clinic 16776 Lakeshore Drive, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530 We had rescued a boy that has an issue with Mites. We had been seeing a local vet who would prescribe ivermectin; for a short period. We were concerned that a long term plan was not being presented. This time when the mites broke out, he also caught an infection on his head, he looked like he was in bad shape. We decided to try a new vet; once closer to home. What a mistake that was! She said that he is so sick he may die; broke our hearts but was determined to do what we needed to help him. He is part of our family and we would never put him to sleep; unless it was the last resort and it was for his good. The vet did not give him anything that day; she did prescribe ivermectin and antibiotic, and said to bring him back in three weeks. No follow up calls, nothing. They were so concerned they called animal control on us; they came and inspected. Saw that the dog's health is improving, where he sleeps, the medicine he is taking. We can appreciate there concern; but no caring the day we went to the office, no follow up call, no real compassion to the dog during the visit. I am disgusted with this place. We are looking for a vet that we can have a trusting and working relationship so we can make sure our baby has the quality of life he deserves. That will never happen with a vet we cannot have faith in. Please recommend a vet if you have one you trust; please do not go to Elsinore Pet Clinic if you are looking for a vet. Thank you for your time.
