Review content:
Our visit to Salmon Dave's came at the recommendation of a respected colleague. We made a reservation (you should as well, with the cozy dining accommodations) and being high maintenance, we added one to our party on the way to the restaurant. Our 4, now 5 was taken in stride by the staff, and with a short wait, we were seated. The atmosphere was great, like something out of a movie, a movie with lots of cool people in it. It is a little loud, as there is alot of brick and tile, and not much to absorb sound, but if you're in the mood for a fun night out, it's perfect. Our orders were taken in a very timely fashion, and we were given scrumptious bread to tide us over until our dinner arrived. Wow. The steaks are fabulous, I particularly recommend the Tenderloin Newburgh. A nice super tender filet crowned nicely with lobster and smothered in a wonderful newburgh sauce. This was in my all-time top 5 meals. Exquisite.
Pros: Excellent food, fun atmosphere, great dining experience
Cons: a little on the pricey side
