My granddaughter Roma and I recently met Laura, Tim and their two daughters on a recent vacation I took in Show Low. Roma had expressed a desire to go horseback riding and I did not want her to think that a horse is an amusement park ride. I found Snowy Ridge Ranch online and all I can say would not be enough, other than this experience was a blessing for both Roma and I. Laura is an excellent teacher who took great care and spent quality time one on one in teaching Roma about the respect and care that one must provide to these beautiful animals. After two one hour classes wherein Roma spent at least 30 minutes in the saddle on each of the two days we bid our farewell knowing that one day soon and with every chance we can get thereafter we will return to Show Low and spend some more quality time at Snowy Ridge Ranch with Laura, her family and their beautiful horses.
