I can't speak for every experience at Boccaccio, but mine was all about the food, and none about the service. I was dining with a friend of mine, both of us early 20's, and we were treated to the worst hospitality that I've had in quite some time. It wasn't just that the waiter was a bad one, the table next to us got exceptional service. I guess he thought he wouldn't get a good tip from us.
Besides the service, the restaurant is cozy, the bar/lounge area very nice, and the food was WONDERFUL. One of the best spinich salads that I've ever had. I would say, go to the restaurant, and I hope you catch your server on a good day!
