Review content:
I went here last night and was completely underwhelmed by the whole experience. I found the waiter to be aloof and condesending (he exuded a fake friendliness) and felt it was inappropriate for him to scold a table busser for clearing one of his tables right next to us. The Shrimp Crostini was a disappointment. For $21, I expect to get a bit more than 6 small shrimp on Rosemary skewers. The crispy Duck was good, but not ""crispy"". Te Pommes frites were not hot and tasted unsalted (adding salt to warm fries at the table doesn't do any good). The ""warm"" chocolate lava cake was cold when delivered to our table. They brought a new one, but that wasn't much warmer. If this is what San Francisco means by French Bistro, then the city has a lot to learn. I will not be returning to this restaurant. Pros: Friendly hostess Cons: , Overpriced wine, Tight spaces
