Having lived and traveled all over the world, it's hard to find a wine shop and bistro that has it all: great wine, great food, great atmosphere and great service, again, and again, and again. When it comes to the wine and champagne collection, its unconventional to say the least, but unconventionally superb: wines and champagnes from Europe, South America and everywhere in between. And, when it comes to the food, it's all fresh: nothing processed, and nothing left over from the remainder of the previous day. The Italian Veggie is the best sandwich available on the East Coast, second to none. Walk in, and your home, either at the bar or in one of the comfortable sofa's, where it is easy to forget about the non-sense of the day, and just live life with a smile on your face, a great glass of wine and imported cheeses. But its really Alex and Alain who deliver on the service!!! The rest of the staff is excellent, so don't get me wrong. Service is the rule, not the exception, whether dining in or picking up for take out! So, if you really want to enjoy yourself, albeit for just a night, there is no better way to kick it off than here. Not downtown: HERE is where the action is!
