Review content:
The general manager came to our table and commented that one of my friends had ?nice cleavage.?
I approached him and told him that I thought he owed my friend an apology.
When he would not apologize, I asked him for his name and he told me ?Tony.?
I asked him for his last name, and he refused to give it to me. He asked me ?Who are you? Who do you work for??
I replied that it was not important and I wanted his last name and his boss' phone number. He told me, ?I am the owner.? I was fairly certain he was not the owner, and I asked a server for the owner's name and number. She told me that she couldn't give that to me. As her general manager was looming over her, I can understand why.
He finally apologized to my friend and immediately after he told her that I was an '@$$hole' and that I was not allowed in his restaurant anymore. Apology not accepted.
We remained on the corner for another couple of minutes. Tony situated himself in the window staring at our party in what I could only assume was an attempt to intimidate me. When we were ready to go, the five of us walked down Bush St. to our car, which was parked in front of the Wells Fargo ATM. We piled in, and I looked to my right to see that Tony had emerged from the restaurant. He walked by our car yelling and pointing at me. As I had my window up, I could not hear what he was saying, but I knew at this point that he was definitely trying to intimidate me. I opened my door and yelled back at him before he made a right and disappeared into the Wells Fargo parking lot.
This was easily the worst experience I have ever had with any management ANYWHERE.
If Tony had just admitted that he made a mistake and apologized, everything would have been OK.
Tortilla Heights does not deserve your business as long as their management acts in this inappropriate, offensive, and professional manner.
Cons: Unprofessional Management, Sexual Harassment
