Review content:
Most think of french food as expensive & fattening. Not the case at Le Bistro where I recently enjoyed a wonderful lunch. Choices range from quiche with salad, soups, 5 or so different salads-$8, a sandwich of the day and tender free-range meat. My friend and I shared a fabulous Beet Salad with strawberries, orange segments and topped with feta cheese. Next came my One Dish Wonder -$17. That day they offered squash soup, chicken with mustard sauce and dessert, the Chocolate Mousse My friend had the beef tenderloin which was so tender it was unbelieveable. Everything is so fresh, flavorful and the french music makes you feel as if you're on vacation in France. Our waiter was helpful explaining the menu and the wine in this charming restaurant. He told us about their Wine Tastings on certain Saturday afternoons. We signed up! Great food and a wonderful dining experience.
Pros: food, french wine, ambiance
