Review content:
I was really excited to visit on my way to Chattanooga from Atlanta, but I knew when I walked in that the staff were not going to be helpful, nor kind. Very gossipy women. I was put off immediately just from overhearing their conversations. And I had to interrupt their conversation to ask a question and it was answered without even making eye contact with me. I am a modern quilter and fabrics were pretty limited for the modern quilter and even for just simple basics, like Kona and FreeSpirit Solids. Kona was $8 yd... I found some notions I was looking for at good prices, but the fabric was way beyond market, even for a brick and mortar quilting shop (for which I am more than happy to pay a premium, within reason). Around $12 yd for your average quality quilting cotton print. They do offer a punch card toward a 20% one off discount (would take a REALLY long time to get enough punches for the average purchaser), and they had a sale section with mixed offerings at $6 yd. All in all, not worth the trouble unless it's convenient, or perhaps if you like cool notions. I did not get a chance to really check out the patterns, but they did seem to have a good selection of cottage industry sewing and quilting patterns.
