Review content:
As a recent transplant to NYC from Florida, I've been looking for that great local hang out that will be my home away from home. I've come across amazing places with great craft beer selections but terrible food, decent food but no decent booze, and just good beer. Kennedy's is by far the best mix I could have asked for. The atmosphere is outstanding: casual and comfortable but slightly sophisticated, clean, and homey. My boyfriend and I had a beer at the bar where we were served by an incredibly attentive, very friendly bartender then took our second round to a table where we had dinner. He had French onion soup, the best I've ever tried!, and chicken pot pie, which was also outstanding. I had the Gaelic burger which was served with fries and a pickle. The french fries were nothing special but the burger was outstanding. Perfectly cooked and HUGE. I couldn't finish it actually. Over all, the experience was lovely and I plan to make this a regular spot!
