The first few times I dined at Charlie's Trio were just OK. Food was decent but services were slow, considering it's a small restaurant, i don't know how they can delay a simple appetizer (fried calamari) for 30 minutes. Last time I was, my friends and I were waiting 20 minutes for a table, even though half of the tables were empty. The hostess said they have to set up the table before seating us. Another 5 minutes went by, I asked a server at the register how long do we have to wait for our table. He replied ""THREE HOURS"". It was extremely inappropriate for him to joke with a customer who's been waiting for her table for almost half an hour. Even though the manager offered to comp the entire meal, my friends and I decided not to eat there because the servers were not being genuine and sincere. A good dining experience is not only about the food but also about the people servicing you. For that matter, Charlie's Trio really messed up big time.
