Having found this bar here on citysearch, my girlfriend and I thought it sounded like a good place to go for a couple beers and a bite to eat while we were in the twin cities on a little vacation. Unfortunately we didn't get to find out, since they refused to serve us since we ""only"" had government issued Canadian drivers licenses. Evidently they don't accept ""out of country identification"" except for passports. So, despite the fact that our ID is good enough to get through the US border, evidently the security standards for this bar are a good deal more strict. I mean who's heard of Canada anyways, they're probably fake, right? By the way we're both 26. I've honestly never seen anything so preposterous in my life, but, as I was told ""it's our bar and we can make whatever rules we want.""
