Celebrated Our Anniversary In The City This Time. Typically don't stay in town because of traffic and prices. A rainy day arrival met us with an outstanding Valet (Dave) who greeted us with an umbrella and took care of vehicle, luggage, etc. Front desk staff was thoroughly professional and met our every need. Harbor view room was great. Chef Concierge (Nathan Goff) made my wife and I feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. Nathan arranged a reservation and transportation (due to rain he offered the hotel car/driver) to a great North End Italian Rest. (Cantina Italiana) the first night. Nathan also assisted us with several other concerns/questions throughout our stay. Jose (chauffeur) offered his direct cell number and returned to pick us up after dinner. My wife said she felt like she had been treated like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman (Barney's service was great in that movie) mostly atrributable to Nathan. Pampered in the spa with a massage on our anniversary afternoon before dinner. Great Svc!! The food and service at the lobby dining room was perfect. Both of us are typically critical having spent many years in the tourism industry. We could find only great things to admire and remark about at this hotel. Close proximity to Aquarium, Quincy Mkt. Fan. Hall , etc. make this location very convenient for a nice weekend get-away. A great anniversary and we will certainly return for a repeat visit. Pros: Chef Concierge and staff know how to AMAZE the guest. Cons: Don't get to Boston often enough.
