My friends and I came here last summer for Restaurant Week and one more time since then, because we absolutely adore this place (for the food of course). Great ambiance, professional wait staff, delicious filet mignion and mashed potatoes YUMM, and prompt service. We made reservations a week before and were greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us promptly. The bread basket and appetizers came out in a matter of minutes and the steaks were divine! even though they were slathered with a ton of butter. Everything was perfect, although I must say they should expand their wait staff to include female waitresses because it felt like they were employing sexist hiring policies...I don't know, it could just be me. Other than that, I enjoyed my steak dinner. And I agree with other reviewers; it's a bit pricey and there are other places in NYC that are more worthy but personally I would recommend Rith Chris'. Happy dining!
