Review content:
Crossroads Coffee and Ice Cream has been my home away from home since it opened. The affordable and delicious menu of Bev's home made ice cream ,Rostov's coffee, the variety of specialty teas, coffees, milk shakes, smoothies(Coffee smoothie =amazing),baked goods, soups , and sandwiches are an important part of its appeal. All of this is uniquely seasoned by the hospitality , friendliness and caring attitude of the owners and employees and the nostalgic atmosphere of Crossroads with its homey and comfortable decor. My cousin and a good friend ,both of whom are in wheel chairs, have also enjoyed visiting with my family and me at both Crossroads and always look forward to returning.Whether I go to Crossroads to fellowship with friends and family ,chat with the baristas, attend a meeting, go to the monthly book club, stop by after a walk in the park with my dog who is eager for her treat from the ""paws"" jar,or snatching a few moments to read or enjoy alone time , I always leave this unique place feeling far better than when I came. What better news could there be than to say Crossroads now has a second location near VCU-- a double blessing for all who want the experience of enjoying a home a way from home.
