Many of us give back to our communities in a variety of ways, but I have yet to find a tastier way! While the interior isn't what one would find in a 5 star restaurant, the thought that the proceeds go to charity really makes one forget about unnecessary frills. Like many others, I stumbled across this place while looking for a quaint little brunch place. The unique mix of traditional southern, creole, and spanish influences leads to quite the mix of flavors. My personal favorite? I'd have to say the Ay Dios Mio!, a Puerto Rican flavored roast pork with soffrito, scrambled eggs and sweet plantains. If you want to avoid the typical snooty brunch places and feel like giving back in the process, you should definitely check this place out.
