Be advised - reviews prior to this date refer to the previous owner! (We miss you Greg!) Everything has changed at Colorado Cleaners and its all changed for the worse! I would have left a ZERO star rating but citysearch does not allow for a ZERO rating. A year - year and a half ago, this WAS the place to take your dry cleaning. Today - NOT at ALL the case! Here are a MYRIAD of reason to take your business elsewhere:
* You have to request that pants be returned with creases.
* You will most likely have to stand at the counter for minutes upon minutes before being acknowledged, recognized or helped.
* When they FINALLY help you, it's some of the WORST, most demeaning customer service in town - regardless of dropping off or picking up.
* They do not have a bell to indicate there is someone waiting waiting waiting at the counter.
* If you want to pre-pay and the person at the counter makes a mistake, they would rather loose your business than own their mistake. ""Pre-pay at your own risk"" should be posted on the front door!
* Banks have better hours than this joint.
* The owner, Court, is combative and hostile when asked about employee mistakes.
* The owner, Court, is more concerned about taking care of employees than customers.
* Although they highly publicize their low rates compared to other places in town, they are crafty in comparing their rates to other cleaners! Not all close options are publicized.
* It's easier to drive across town and get the cleaning results and friendly - error free customer service you deserve than it is to stop some place close to home.
So do it! Take your dry cleaning some place closer to your job. If you work close to Colorado Cleaners, take your dry cleaning closer to home. If you live AND work close to Colorado Cleaners - drive across town or pay extra to have your clothing laundered at a reputable establishment. Trust me - you'll be glad you did!
I look forward to the day Colorado Cleaners is sold or goes out of business! I welcome the opportunity to celebrate and relish in it's demise. I invite everyone in the hood and beyond to join me in the alley to celebrate the day this joint goes out of business! Our neighborhood deserves better than this! Colorado Cleaners is bringing us down!
Trust me ... Colorado Cleaners is NOT the place you want to do business with! I've been going there for years and the past year has been more of a let down than the last guy I dated! You, your wardrobe and I deserve better than this!
