Aside from the silly ""west coast"" decor, the food is just ok. last time i went, i ordered what I always do: tex mex egg rolls and the santa fe chicken salad with no peanut sauce, just the cilantro vinaigrette. the salad arrived undressed, so after 10 minutes or so, when the waiter finally checked on us, i asked for the cilantro vinaigrette. he said he would be right back. after another 5 or so minutes, he came back with something else and said that they didn't have the cilantro vinaigrette made today. the ""substitute"" he brought tasted terrible and he said they were making the dressing right now and did i want to wait? of course i did, that is by far the best part of the salad! another 10 or so minutes went by, the check was delivered, i asked for a box to take the uneaten salad with me and for the dressing to go. the manager delivered a very small tub of dressing and apologized for the wait (my companion had already finished her meal.) I asked the waiter for another tub and he told me they would have to make it! When I looked at the check, no discount had been taken off. Even after the manager delivered the dressing, he didn't offer to discount the meal at all. If they had just said at the beginning, ""we are out of cilantro vinaigrette"" I could have ordered someting else. Pros: good appetizers Cons: long wait, mediocre food, lousy customer service
