I have ordered from Chai many times always getting the same thing (mee krob rad na), and it was decent, nothing special, just one of those easy lazy meals to order-in that are filling, but I was satisfied. Last night I ordered it again, and a different person was at the phone than usual (a man who barely understood me/english) and I believe he is the reason why my order was placed wrong, as some other dish showed up to my place. Which is fine, mistakes happen, I simply called and said there was a mistake. They said they would cook my correct meal and send it and I needed to give back the other meal, so I did. When I got the meal I originally ordered I said thanks and sorry about that to the delivery guy, but he just turned around and walked away and said nothing. I presume because he had to come back out in the cold and give me another meal with no tip this time. Which I don't believe I should be expected to tip twice for the restaurants mistake. I had the food and only ate maybe 2/3 of it as it just didn't seem appetizing to me. Lo and behold, I have a restless sleep all night with sharp graduating pains in my stomach. This continues all throughout today until I feel so tired from no sleep last night that I take a 3 hour nap. When I wake I have diarrhea 3 times in one hour. I have been eating at home with my own cooking for a week and ran out of groceries hence why I ordered in. This is the only meal out of place that could have caused this, and the only meal I had within proximity of the sickness. I have not changed any other patterns in my life and I am a healthy person who rarely has these type of ailments. I find it funny that with my sickness since that food, I have not had any fever or other effects that generally come with food poisoning, which leads me to believe this could be the doing of an angry chef or delivery boy with their laxative stash. We all know that it's a gamble on whether or not public food is at its best quality and service. I guess I gambled wrong here and should have just asked for a refund and ordered from somewhere else to be safe. Do not trust just anyone, people do all kinds of weird things for odd reasons. I will never order from here again, and certainly will advise everyone I know to steer clear.
