Review content:
I called Meineke and ask for a quote on the basic brake change. Was given a quote of $105.00 for the front and $115.00 for the back. ( NOTHING!!! was said about my having a coupon for 50% off brake service.) and when I get there I proceed to ask about the cost and he QUICKLY informs me that the price he quoted me on the phone was WITH the 50% off coupon already applied (keep in mind I never said I had a coupon until I got to the shop) so whats up with that. I quickly informed him that I did not approve of his business manner and that I felt he had miss informed me and walked straight back out the door I came in.Keep in mind also that this happened in Greer,South Carolina. I would hate to think Meineke would condone this behavior in all of the shops carrying their name. I know I am female but that doesn't make me stupid or willing to be jerked around by any one just because my car needs to be repaired. I have the right to be treated fairly just like any man does. Not that I want to be treated like a man Just treated as fairly as one. Given the time and the tools I could possibly do this myself I just don't want to.
