DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I had the most horrible experience there. I had to call police to get them give my car back. Here?s what happened. I took my car there for an inspection and they told me that my breaks are ?done? and that I need to replace front rotors and front wheeldrums. They told me it would cost me $350 because I am a good customer, otherwise, they charge $390. Now, I am not stupid, I just did not have time to shop around. So, I signed the pre-agreement and for the method of payment I checked credit card (since this was unexpected expense and I wanted to control my bank account). While waiting in the nearby Bob and Edith's Diner I made phone calls to get quotes from other shops, and I found out the most expensive one was $220. When I got back to get my car, I gave them my credit card and told them that I will not be coming back because of very high prices. The manager got upset and started shouting and insulting me and said that I am a problematic costumer and that I have to ?produce? 400 dollars in cash because he thinks he does not believe my credit card company will pay him?!?! This is after we had our written agreement in the beginning that I will be paying with credit card. Well, it was late in the day, my bank does not release more than $300 a day, and on top of it their ATM does not release more than $200! He said that I either ?produce? $400 or he will not give me my car back?! I ended up calling the police to be able to get my car back. The whole ordeal lasted 3 long and cold hours. I will NEVER go back or let any of my friends go there. What a horrible treatment.
