Review content:
We are done with this winery! After several ""events"" and many hard earned dollars later..we will never go back to Efeste. This weekend hubby, and I, along with two other wine loving friends attended the Rock and Sips event. Not a cheap event but hey..it was a Lymphoma/Leukemia fundraiser so consider it a worthy cause. What was a bummer was that this event was billed as live music, food, and wine tastings from five separate wineries from 4-7 p.m. Event started at 4:00 p.m. and by 5:00, three of the five wineries were OUT OF WINE!!! WTF???? $35.00 for a meager taste of wine and two of them were out before we even could get through the massive lines of people. BOGUS is an understatement. Efeste served only their low end Final Final...not one sip of their Syrahs or the highly loved Cab, Big Papa. For this kind of money we should have been treated like guests not peasants. Patrick (one of the owners) was so drunk, he spilled wine on my husband's arm and shoes. Not cool. The food??? If you want to call a half inch slice of cardboard ""food"", then so be it. The music?? ICK! A two man acoustic duo playing old cover tunes was embarrassing!
