I was looking for a way to exercise that would help me strengthen my core without hurting my back. My physical therapist recommended pilates. A search on the web showed several pilates classes in my neighborhood, but only Pilates Essence seemed to be equipped to give the one-on-one attention I was looking for. After a year of working in the studio with Marie and Lana, I am completing exercises that I didn't think I could do! Marie and Lana are highly skilled, enthusiastic, and fun! They have been able to incorporate the recommendations of my doctor for maximum benefit in my workout. The studio has a calm, serene vibe. I appreciate all the different equipment since the variety keeps me motivated!
