Review content:
I recently used Washington Mutual's ATM on Piedmont Road in Atlanta to withdraw $40.00. I accepted the identified fee of $2.00 for use of the ATM (I do not have an account with WaMu). When reviewing my bank statement 2 days later, I noticed the following withdrawals: $2.00 WaMu debit followed by a $2.00 WaMu debit followed by a $42.00 WaMu debit. I called customer service (good luck finding the appropriate # to be connected...) only to have the 'customer service? representative state there had been a $2.00 fee for displaying my account balance added to the $2.00 fee for the withdrawal transaction. I don't agree with separate transaction fees for providing the balance and a 'fast cash' withdrawal, but whatever.... When I asked for an explanation of the remaining $2.00 fee, I was told she had no idea and I would need to take that up with my bank. Thanks for the great service WaMu!
