Businiess name:  Anti-Cruelty Society

Review content:
I would rather name this the Cruel Society. They give sick dogs to first time dog owners and say deal with it. Recently , my boyfriend acquired a dog from the society.. it took him a long time to commit to such a responsibility. Well, we brought the boy home after an excruciating interview from a woman who didn't give good advice to any new dog owner.. she was anti-crating and told us annually it would cost between $600-800 a year for a dog. Being educated people, we thought was a really low estimate considering the costs of getting a dog for the first time and acquiring all the necessities. HOwever, we didn't know that we had received a dog that had a pneumonia. After one day of having fun and loving him, we had to take him to an emergency care facility and he had to stay there over night because the society doesn't have any emergency vets on hand. $600 later, we had to take him back to the shelter where we got him ( incredibly sad) to see him stay there for a few more days because he had to be fed intravenously. Pros: there are dogs available Cons: they are sick
