My wife and I stayed here for one night after our Cruise before returning home. Before the cruise we stayed at another hotel on Ocean Drive, and it was fine. We were happy with it. however, we really enjoyed the Cavalier. It's not the best of the best, but it's way above the worst of the hotels in the area. Also, the free drink that you get upon check-in... they give you a ticket to give to the bar and basically you can get one free drink of your choice. And even better, South Beach has no open container laws, so you can walk along the streets with your beverage of choice in your hand. :) For the cost of one night here, we will definitely be staying at the Cavalier every time we come and stay in South Beach.
