My family and I would be happy to patron any small business in town, but after discovering how rude one of the male owners is, we will never return again. We overlooked the fact that his people skills weren't top shelf, when we first tried the restaurant. However, we have not been able to ignore his holier-than-thou, imperious attitude towards close family, friends and acquaintances who also are restaurant owners or manage restaurants in PTC. He makes a habit out of ordering food from other places and promising to pay back in the not-too-distant future but never does. When he's called out on it by restaurant owners or managers who let him get away with it the first few times, assuming he would be good for it, he gets angry and doesn't return. As a small business owner himself, it's amazing that he can be that audacious. Then, there's his other habit of walking directly into the kitchens of other restaurants, like he owns their establishment, as well. I've heard the other small business owners trade stories about how they've had to keep him from walking into their kitchens. Even if he were the President, his behavior would be completely unacceptable. I suppose he's compensating for his 400 lbs. of insecurity. Given his attempts to walk away with free food from other restaurants in town, I can only imagine the quality that is compensated from the food he serves at Borgo Italia.
