Review content:
Johnnies meat is fatty and a bit chewy, but the flavor and seasoning is unique. Combine that with the dip ( ask for extra or get some on the side) and their fresh baked soft french rolls and you have a one of a kind experience worth craving for. (For the record- Langers is THE Best Ever Pastrami- but the location is the worst!). Their corned beef is very lean but not quite as tasty with the spices missing. Also...dont overlook the hot dogs at Johnnies. They are big Vienna Beef guys and they do something kind of strange. They actually deep fry the hot dogs for about a minute , then they put them on the char broiler. Dont ask me why. They have a great ""cookout"" flavor bar none. Johnnies should be on everyones list of gotta try places. For most, you will be hooked.
Pros: Food, Fast service, retro atmosphere
Cons: waits at lunch
