Review content:
I found this salon through craigslist, in an ad they had for hair models. I saw one for a bob, which was the cut I had been wanting to get, and found out that I could get that cut for free by an apprentice stylist and get all-over color for a product charge of $25. Now, for starters, I've had long hair for about 2 years, to about the middle of my back, but I've been dying to get a cute, stylish cut for some time. Seeing as how I'm a graduate student though, I don't quite have the money for a trendy salon and a good cut. This worked out wonderfully to my advantage because my stylist, Jag, was awesome (she'd graduated from the Aveda Institute and had been training at the salon for about a year). My cut, which was done by Jag and supervised by Brenda, turned out beautiful and I have been receiving compliments since I got it done. The only downside to my experience was perhaps the fact that the color I was having done (red) didn't quite turn out as bright as I had wanted, but I still like it. The salon has a definite 'feel' to it that does resemble a style lounge...I especially like the little room where you sit under the heat for your color, very neat! So, while I probably could not afford to come here if I was not a hair model, I think it's a great salon with talented and caring stylists who will do their best to make your hair how you want it. :)
Pros: good products, ambience
Cons: would have been expensive had I not been a hair model
