Review content:
After reading the litany of lies posted by the so called reviewers, I have to respond with some truth. I cannot speak to the ethics of Wes Lend Financial - and ethics is not a term you can use commonly with most lending institutions. However, I have had a great deal of experience with A Fine Appraisal Service and I would like to address the ridiculous fabrications listed on this website. Firstly, when they send out an appraiser, there is typically only one of them, which would make it difficult for the person to ""surround"" anyone. When they arrive at your door, they have already discussed any fees that need to be collected for the appraisal. If the homeowner is unwilling to pay the fee, usually negotiated with the loan officer from the mortgage company, the appraiser will cancel the appointment. If it happens during the appointment, they have simply said ""Good day"" and left as they will not be getting paid for completing the appraisal. To claim that they bully and intimidate home owners is a lie and distortion beyond belief. If there really is a problem with an appraiser or an appraisal company, you can check with the State appraisal board. They register complaints from people who are not satisfied with the service or ethics of the appraisal company. The state will then demand the company or appraiser provide their explanation for the compaint and defend themselves in front of the state board. If they are found to be in violation of the federally mandated standards set down for appraisers, then they are disciplined (which may involve them losing their license) and this is a matter of public record. Go take a look to see if any appraiser from A Fine Appraisal Service is listed on the state appraisal web sites. I guarantee you, you won't find a single one.
On the credit card payments, who ever wrote all these ""reviews"" - and it looks as if it was only one very bitter individual using different login names - no credit card company in the world would allow such charges to be rung up unless the owner of the card explicitly allowed this. And leave aside the question of murder. That is an utter joke. Clearly who ever wrote these reviews is engaged in an unreal smear campaign that makes no sense since they don't seem to understand the first thing about the real estate appraisal industry. They may have had a bad experience with Wes Ben Lending, but as I said, I cannot speak to that. There are so many mortgage companies constantly changing their names and address that it is hard to know who is who. My experiences with A Fine Appraisal Service have been nothing but professional, respectful and informative.
Pros: Professional, courteous and respectful
Cons: Work ordered by questionable mortgage lenders
