Businiess name:  Koyama Restaurant

Review content:
This place used to be MOMOYAMA Japanese Restaurant which was very good, fish, sushi, sashimi, yaki soba, everything is very fresh, place is clean though not very ?upscale?, and service is very good. Unfortunately, I went there again recently and found out that they changed the owner, waiters/resses, and chef. Have to say BIG disappointment. Price increased by $ 5-8 each dish. We ordered Sashimi Mix platter and the size was significantly smaller too. Tariyaki Shrimp is too salty and I can cook better than it. Food is not very fresh. For a sushi restaurant, fresh fish and seafood is a must. Have to say the quality of the fish was not at all impressive as before. We also wanted to order some squid on the menu, and Sake and Beer, the Indian waiter told us, they don?t have any squid and the restaurant does not have a license for alcohol any more. Last but not the least, it is kind of dirty in the ?new? restaurant, even though the new owner didn?t actually change any tables/chairs, and layout. We detected some leftover rice and tiny fish on the table and requested to change to sit at a new table at the beginning. The current Koyama is no longer the good place it used to be, pricy, low quality, and no Sake/Beer, at least not for us. Don?t think we will come again.
