I wish there was a negative five star rating. I would gladly give it. I went into escrow with these people, and because of the seller's refusal to allow me to inspect the sewage system, I was forced to cancel (the seller had also told me the property was hooked up to the city sewer lines, which it wasn't). The seller admitted they didn't want the inspection done because it might reveal a condition that would ""scare away"" other FHA buyers! It took these people three tries to get the cancellation statement right. First, they charged me a $475.00 cancellation fee, which was NOT in the contract!!! Then they charged me other fees that should have been the seller's responsibility. They refused to take my calls, and were incredibly rude. Since I am an attorney and work at a law firm, I had to threaten litigation just to get them to split the cancellation fee with the seller, as required by their own agreement! They botched getting me the agreement, they botched sending my check, then I had to wait for them to issue a new one. Finally, I had to drive to Hermosa Beach to pick it up. The officer, Laura Mason, refused to come out to deal with me. The whole process took SIX WEEKS.
I cannot stress enough that no one should use this company. Look at the other reviews. If you're a buyer, you must INSIST on using a different company. They are unprofessional, incompetent, and downright nasty. You WILL REGRET USING THEM.
