Review content:
While I was there getting my cut, the receptionist was writing a review on Yelp about this salon. They were discussing it openly and trying to figure out how to have their review to show up on the top. Obviously they give themselves 5 stars.
Bo did my hair. I have long hair and love it. All I wanted was a trim. She confirmed that she'd keep the length. When I looked up at what she was doing I was devastated to see that she was cutting inches off. She cut at least two inches and put in random layers, it looked nothing like what I asked her to do. When I told her that it's much shorter than what I asked for, she said, 'yeah, maybe I did get a little carried away, but look it's fun and beachy'. That is NOT what I requested. I have a professional job, and need to look sleek and professional, not 'beachy'! I also asked her not to style it because I was going to the gym after, she did it anyway and charged me for it.
While she was cutting my hair, she was constantly distracted by the receptionist who could not make any scheduling decisions on her own. Bo literally stepped away from me several times to go talk to her. Bo was rude and condescending to all her staff, she constantly pushed her treatments and products. It was a very awkward and uncomfortable experience, and I hate my hair now!
