I am conflicted. Very conflicted. I have to generally agree with BingoGirl0524 - he gives lots of excuses. His prices were reasonable, but things kept getting added on. A lot. I guess that is common in the business. But that wasn't the only problem. Like BingoGirl says, he commits, gets a down payment, then it's a big question mark. He disappears for a while.
And whatever you do, don't pay until every last bit is finished. That's common sense for any contractor, but I paid and never saw him again. But then again, I just wanted it done with, and I was ok with doing all the little final details myself. I just wanted to be done with it.
I thought some of the work was nice, but just as much was cr@ppy. Wouldn't rehire or recommend, but he wasn't not bad enough to take to small claims or get him back to correct his work. Just glad it's done.
