Review content:
Many folks say Keen's is their favorite steakhouse in Manhattan, but that was not our experience. The food was good, but really nothing special. We ordered the porterhouse for 2, and it was a massive amount of steak... very good, but not the best we've had (we liked the Striphouse much better). Steakhouses are a dime a dozen in NYC, so it's the service that really differentiates... and that's where Keen's failed. The service was efficient, but completely indifferent and cold... our waiter acted as though he could care less about us (or his other tables for that matter). We ordered a nice bottle of red wine, and it was WARM, as though it had been stored above the stove in the kitchen...definitely not proper serving temperature. Of course our waiter didn't bother to ask if everything was okay, so we just toughed it out. We would definitely not return - will take our business and $$ to a business that cares more about their customers.
Pros: Good steak
Cons: Snooty service
